Join Congressman Jake Auchincloss, Member of the US House of Representatives, for MassBio’s latest Policymakers Live briefing.

Congressman Auchincloss will be discussing his first term in office as well as initiatives related to the life sciences industry that he is focused on in his district.

Congressman Auchincloss was elected in November 2020 and is currently serving in his first term as a member of the US House of Representatives.  He represents the 4th MA Congressional District which includes 34 cities and towns that stretch from Fall River, Attleboro and Taunton in southeastern Massachusetts to Boston's inner suburbs of Newton and Brookline. Congressman Auchincloss is a member of the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure and the Committee on Financial Services.

Prior to being elected to Congress, Congressman Auchincloss served three terms as a member of the Newton city council.  After graduating from Harvard College, Congressman Auchincloss joined the Marines where he commanded infantry in Afghanistan and special operations in Panama. Congressman Auchincloss is currently a major in the Marine Corps reserves.

During the briefing, policymakers outline their initiatives and participate in Q&A with attendees.
