Join Representative William Driscoll, Chairman of the Joint Committee on COVID-19 and Emergency Preparedness and Management, for MassBio’s latest Policymakers Live briefing.

Representative Driscoll assumed office in January 2017 and is currently serving in his third term as a member of the Massachusetts Legislature, representing the seventh Norfolk District which includes the towns of Milton and Randolph. He also serves as a member of the House Committee on Post Audit and Oversight. Prior to joining the Legislature, Representative Driscoll worked for more than a decade in the U.S. disaster response arena, coordinating across organizations, emergency management professionals, and all levels of government, to help families and communities rebuild following natural disasters.

Representative Driscoll will discuss his role as Chairman of the newly created Joint Committee on COVID-19 and Emergency Preparedness and Management, which was formed in January 2021 to monitor and investigate issues related to the COVID-19 emergency response and recovery as well as draft legislative recommendations to equitably address safe recovery for all residents of the Commonwealth.
