#IamRemarkable is a Google initiative that strives to empower women and underrepresented groups to celebrate and speak openly about their accomplishments in the workplace and beyond, improving self-promotion motivation and skills, thereby breaking modesty norms and glass ceilings. At the heart of the #IamRemarkable initiative is a 90-minute workshop, which will be conducted by Google trained #iamremarkable facilitator, Dr. Cheryl Vaughan. It is suggested that this workshop be attended by HR and Training Leaders and is an invite only event. Information will be provided to attendees as to how they can become #iamremarkable facilitators. Attendance is limited to 25.

Speaker:

Dr. Vaughan is the Managing Director of Learning and Development Programs at the Boston Biomedical Innovation center (B-BIC). At B-BIC and Harvard Catalyst, she has designed, built and delivered customized workshops for faculty and fellows in the engaged in technology innovation. She co-founded the MASS AWIS Leadership Program, serves on the MassBio HR Forum, and is engaged with MassBioEd to build new soft skills programs for employees with primarily technical backgrounds. Dr. Vaughan holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and a Ed.M., both from Harvard University.
