People of color with a rare disease face disparities in access to care and are underrepresented in research and clinical trials. Together, these disparities make timely diagnosis and adequate treatment exponentially harder, resulting in serious health consequences. In this panel our industry experts will discuss their rare disease discovery and development programs that expand beyond the traditional to include Rare Diseases that affect a wide spectrum of racial and ethnic backgrounds.
