MassBio is launching “Policymakers Live” - a series of virtual briefings with a member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives, Massachusetts Senate, or a member of the Governor’s Administration.

In an effort to connect our membership with policymakers in lieu of traditional avenues no longer available, MassBio will host these 1-hour “virtual” briefings in the coming months. Policymakers will outline initiatives they are working on and attendees will have the chance to ask questions.

Senator Lovely is serving in her fourth term as the State Senator for the Second Essex District, which includes Beverly, Danvers, Peabody, Salem and Topsfield. She is currently a member of Senate Leadership, holding the position of Assistant Majority Leader. Senator Lovely is the Senate Chair of the Ellen Story Commission on Postpartum Depression and is a member of the Special Senate Committee on Opioid Addiction Prevention, Treatment and Recovery Options.
