UMass Medical School is one of the leading medical schools in the nation for primary care education. Vanessa is responsible for policy, compliance, and campus engagement, as well as visa processing and advising for over 600 student or employment-based visa holders. She specializes in J-1, H1B, TN, E-3, and F-1 regulations and processes. She also manages international tax treaty application and I-9 compliance. Prior to her time at UMass Medical School, Vanessa managed the immigration needs of international students, scholars, and faculty at The Scripps Research Institute and Hampshire College.
