Director of Talent Acquisition & Operations, Flagship Pioneering
Emily holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic University. She spent 10 years as an Executive Recruiter with a focus on MS and PhD Statisticians, Data Scientists and Modelers. Following that, she began scaling companies by process optimizing the hiring function. She has worked in startups, going from 20-80 in 10 months, 12-45 in 18 months and most recently at bluebird bio in hypergrowth going from 300-850 in a little over two years as the Head of Talent Acquisition and Recruiting Operations. She recently joined Flagship Pioneering as a Director of Talent Acquisition and Operations with a goal of implementing and optimizing systems to underpin all things hiring. Emily loves new ideas, technologies and approaches. In her free time, she pursues most things outdoors, good food, live music and seeing as much of the world as she can.
