HR Business Leader, US Business Unit, Takeda
Melissa O’Neill is an HR Business Leader in the US Business Unit at Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd. In this role she provides strategic HR oversight and support to the US Gastroenterology BU, with responsibility for delivering an exceptional people experience. Over the past year, Melissa has also served as the HR Lead on Takeda’s USBU COVID-19 Response Team, focusing on the health and well-being of employees during the pandemic. Prior to Takeda, Melissa began her career in management consulting, and later held various positions in HR and Operations at several pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical companies including Wyeth, Pfizer, and Shire. Melissa earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Babson College.
