Li started her career in the Analytical Development department of Biogen. Over her 13-year tenure there, she developed herself from a bench scientist to a group leader to a department head, responsible for biochemical, biophysical assay development, detailed structure characterization, analytical CMC program management as well as analytical regulatory filing for all protein projects in Biogen’s pipeline. Li joined Abbvie in 2018 and is currently leading the Protein Analytics department at AbbVie Bioresearch Center. Li attended Northeastern University and received her PhD degree in Analytical Chemistry with Professor Barry L. Karger. So far, Li has published more than 25 scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals and has given 12 presentations at international scientific conferences. In addition, Li is also a co-inventor of an approved US patent and a US patent application.
