Senior Manager of Cellular Therapy Manufacturing, bluebird bio
Lance joined bluebird bio in 2018 as a Senior Manager in Manufacturing where he helps provide leadership and oversight for GMP gene and cell therapy manufacturing operations. Prior to joining bluebird bio, he held various leadership roles at Shire (now Takeda) in Manufacturing, QA, and Manufacturing, Science and Technology (MS&T). He started his career in 2003 at Lonza Biologics, Inc. in Manufacturing before transitioning to MS&T. Lance received his BS degree in Zoology from the University of New Hampshire. He serves as on the advisory boards for Just A Start and MassBioEd.
