Vanessa is responsible for policy, compliance, and campus engagement, as well as visa processing and advising for over 600 student or employment-based visa holders. She specializes in J-1, H1B, TN, E-3, and F-1 regulations and processes. She also manages international tax treaty application and I-9 compliance. Prior to her time at UMass Medical School, Vanessa managed the immigration needs of international students, scholars, and faculty at The Scripps Research Institute and Hampshire College.
