  • Christine Blazynski is currently a Senior Product Manager for special projects at Informa Pharma Intelligence. Her prior roles included Head of Innovation and Chief Science Officer and Senior Vice-President of New Product Development at Citeline. She a managed the ideation, development and launch of all of Citeline’s offerings over a ten-plus year period. She received a BS in Biochemistry from the University of Scranton, a Ph.D. from Purdue University, post-doctoral training at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, and then joined the faculty at this institution for several years in the Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics Department. A growing interest in business strategies around drug development resulted in her move from academia to market research and analysis. Prior to joining Citeline, she was Director of Product Development for Decision Resources, Inc. Dr. Blazynski has consulted and written extensively about competitive landscapes, clinical trial metrics, trial analytics and emerging trends in drug development.

  • Ray received his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Illinois at Chicago and completed his MBA from Babson College. Ray has over 13 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical industry working for both pharmaceutical and CRO/CMO companies. At Syner-G, Ray is a member of the Senior Leadership team having responsibility for leading the CMC and Project Management business units. His team is responsible for providing scientific solutions for drug development programs including identifying and managing CRO/CMO/CDMOs for Syner-G’s clients to support drug substance, drug product and analytical development activities. Ray’s scientific team is also tasked with providing strategic and Program Management oversite of development and clinical stage programs. Previously, Ray was part of the Senior Leadership team at Laurus Synthesis Inc. (LSI), a Boston based CRO/CMO where he led the Project Management group. He began his pharmaceutical career as a process chemist at Vertex Pharmaceuticals then moved on to Ironwood Pharmaceuticals holding several scientific positions of increasing responsibility leaving as a Senior Manager of Operations.

  • Mr. Schafer joined Industry Standard Research (ISR) in 2010 as President after spending eight years with Quintiles/IQVIA. As President of ISR, Mr. Schafer is responsible for directing syndicated research products, custom market research efforts, and strategic planning. In 2017 ISR was sold to Life Science Connect. While at Quintiles Mr. Schafer was responsible for primary market research activities, leading strategy, functional service provider, and market development activities for data management and biostatistics, corporate new service introduction, and led the North American Corporate Strategy function. Prior to his work in the pharmaceutical industry, Mr. Schafer spent 10+ years in the telecommunications industry at IBM, Nortel Networks, and Caspian Networks focusing on new product development and introduction. Mr. Schafer received undergraduate degrees in Finance and Economics and a MBA in Marketing and Statistics from Syracuse University.
