DOT Training for the Packaging & Shipment of Regulated Medical Waste
Do you generate infectious waste? If you prepare infectious waste for offsite transportation and/or sign the shipping paper (manifest) then you need to be DOT certified to do so. Training is required once every three years or sooner if the DOT updates its regulations. Please join Stericycle for a free US DOT Hazmat training for the packaging and transportation of Regulated Medical Waste (called Biohazardous waste by the MA DPH). Several days prior to registration we will send out instructions, a test, an outline, and a roster. All three should be completed as instructed and maintained in your training files after the training has been completed. Each attendee needs to register independently so Stericycle can confirm the registrants against the WebEx log in and phone records.
