- Martha Brown, PhD
- Executive Director, Discovery Research Coordination, Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Inc.
- Martha Brown is Executive Director of Discovery Research Coordination at Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Inc. In this role she leads strategic and operational functions in Discovery Research coordinating local initiatives and ensuring harmonization with Boehringer Ingelheim’s global Discovery Research efforts. During her two decades at Boehringer Ingelheim, Martha has worked across drug discovery and development from exploratory research to Phase 3 clinical trials. Prior to her current role, Martha led Target Enabling Science and Technology, encompassing High Throughput Biology, Structural Biology, Compound Profiling and Sample Management functions for all small molecule projects originating at the US Discovery Research site. Her earlier work includes formulator for Aptivus®, for the treatment of HIV. Prior to her time at Boehringer Ingelheim, Martha was a National Research Science Award funded post-doctoral researcher at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Martha earned a Ph.D. from The Johns Hopkins University.

- Tim Dietlin is Global Managing Partner of the Healthcare and Life Sciences Practice at Heidrick & Struggles,. In this role he also leads the practice’s America’s region and Biopharmaceuticals industry segment. Tim works across Healthcare and Life Sciences segments—including established pharmaceuticals, emerging high-growth biotechs, and investor backed service and technology companies—to advise across human capital issues and recruit leaders at the board, CEO, commercial leadership, and R&D leadership levels. Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Tim served as a partner at IBM where he led their life sciences strategy and transformation consulting practice. Prior to IBM, Tim was the SVP of Global Consulting and Strategic Alliances with INC Research and a VP at Campbell Alliance, a life sciences management consulting firm, where he led their R&D and Medical Affairs consulting practices. Tim graduated from Loyola University of Chicago with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and earned an MBA from DePaul University (the Charles H. Kellstadt Graduate School of Business).

- Terence P. McCourt is Co-Managing Shareholder of the Boston office of Greenberg Traurig, LLP and Chairman of the Boston Labor & Employment Practice. He represents a broad range of organizations in all facets of management-side labor and employment law. During more than two decades of practice, Terry has gained a national reputation for his practical, strategic approach to employment law issues. With wide-ranging litigation experience, Terry handles diverse employment matters, including employment discrimination and wrongful termination cases in state and federal courts, wage and hour compliance, labor arbitration cases, non-competition cases, internal corporate investigations, and National Labor Relations Board proceedings. He also counsels employers concerning day-to-day human resources issues as well as myriad legal requirements in the workplace, particularly related to significant operational changes such as mergers, acquisitions, business relocations or reductions in force. Terry has wide-ranging governmental experience as the former Deputy Chief Legal Counsel to the Governor of Massachusetts and General Counsel to the Massachusetts Secretary of Labor.

- Melissa O’Neill is an HR Business Leader in the US Business Unit at Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd. In this role she provides strategic HR oversight and support to the US Gastroenterology BU, with responsibility for delivering an exceptional people experience. Over the past year, Melissa has also served as the HR Lead on Takeda’s USBU COVID-19 Response Team, focusing on the health and well-being of employees during the pandemic. Prior to Takeda, Melissa began her career in management consulting, and later held various positions in HR and Operations at several pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical companies including Wyeth, Pfizer, and Shire. Melissa earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Babson College.
